Our newest version of our Velocity Stack features an engineered intake horn and is sold with our mounting brackets. This new horn has been redesigned externally, providing improved flow dynamics that smooth out turbulence, while allowing a higher volume of air to enter the carburetor venturi.

I have a 2007 Yamaha Roadstar 1700. I contacted Shane at SS Custom Cycle to explore improving its performance. With his guidance I purchased a Mikuni High performance Carb, a ported manifold, an SS Custom Cycle big air box and a high performance ignition. I installed all the parts myself. SS was always available for tech support. I had a full page of questions and Shane promptly answered every one of them. He personally enabled me to install all the parts without a hitch.

The bike’s performance is absolutely amazing when compared to the way it was stock. There is a steady powerful pull throughout the RPM range in every gear. What a difference. The parts are of the highest quality and the SS Air box is gorgeous. It changed the entire look of my bike – 200% for the better. I couldn't be happier.

Featuring "Dyna coils" combined with our 10.4mm "TV-50" performance wires....

 

These super fat 10.4mm "ThunderVolt50" wires are technically superior to any wires on the market today due to their low ohm rating of 50 ohms per foot. Using our "Hot-Shot" set up will result in an easier starting, smoother and stronger running motor with better gas mileage. This is accomplished by igniting the unspent gases that normally end up fouling your plugs. Even as your bike sits there idling, your plugs will be cleaned!! A 2 horsepower increase was accomplished on the test bike along with an additional 3 mpg jump. Just by adding this kit!!
